Home Resume Bio & contact	Alex Mechanic Actor / Singer / Songwriter I’ve had a passion for acting from an early age. For most of my childhood and teen years, I studied music and dance, and really fell in love with acting when I first attended a Shakespeare summer camp in San Francisco when I was ten. As a teen, I was a company member of a local musical theater group for five years, where I trained in jazz, tap, acting and voice, and performed around the Bay Area throughout the year. Later, I became involved in experimental theater and cabaret. In my college years I majored in theater at the University of Colorado. While there I also trained privately with a vocal coach and continued my dance and music training. Now I'm back in the Bay Area for good, and ready to take my passion to the next level professionally. Contact me!
